At Kingston United, we know that raising strong athletes doesn’t just take a village — it takes a community. The journey of a girl in sport is shaped not only by coaches and teammates, but also by the broader network of organizations, mentors, and leaders who stand alongside her. That’s why we’re proud to be developing something new — the Women & Girls Soccer Conference — in partnership with groups like the Women Entrepreneur Resource Network (WERN). Together, we’re creating a space where the lessons of sport and the pathways of leadership meet.
Beyond the Game
When girls experience the discipline, teamwork, and confidence that soccer provides, they carry those lessons into every space they enter. Whether it’s stepping up as captains on the pitch or stepping into boardrooms, classrooms, and businesses, the skills are the same — vision, resilience, and the ability to bring people together. The Women & Girls Soccer Conference will showcase exactly that — proving that soccer isn’t just about winning games. It’s about preparing girls for a lifetime of leadership, collaboration, and success in whatever field they choose.
